Brittany brought these over last night, and they are too die for! Of course, I’m like Eric… I love caramel and brownies. Definitely a new favorite brownie recipe. :)

How funny! My mom made a version of this for me last week and I am planning on posting it soon. Her recipe was a German chocolate cake as well, but more like cake than brownies. I definitely have to try the brownie version now!

I saw this picture yesterday and I made them when I got home from work last night. Easy and beyond delicious! Thanks for all of the great recipes- especially the coconut syrup. The grocery stores I usually go to stopped carrying it, so I found your recipe and it is better than any you can buy. Thanks again!

We always make this when friends come over, it’s my most requested dessert by far!

We made this tonight and they were delicious. We used dark cake mix and semi-sweet chips and it was still really good, with a darker flavor.

This recipe brings back wonderful memories. A childless couple a few years older than my parents lived accross the street from us when I was in high school. I would go over on Saturday mornings and help her clean, iron, mow, cook and bake. One of the recipes we made often are these bars. She had a brain anurism (sp) and passed on several years ago and I haven’t been able to try the recipe since. But, I just may have to make these soon.

This looks too good to just make for us. They will be gone too quickly and I will see where it goes but for company, I will have to share. I am going to save this for the next time, someone, anyone is visiting.

I've made this recipe before and it's fantastic. Very sweet and rich. I call it the PMS cure.
