This is a yummy guacamole recipe. I believe it is a Barefoot Contessa recipe, but I’m not sure. A few different friends of mine submitted it for a cookbook we made. Hope you enjoy!
PS, After you combine all the ingredients, you just stir it around to get it to mash up to your preference.

printable recipe
4 ripe Haas avocados
3 Tbs squeezed lemon juice
8 dashes Tabasco sauce
½ cup small-diced red onion
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 to 1½ tsp kosher salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 medium tomato, seeded, and small-diced (or more)
In a large bowl, combine lemon juice, Tabasco, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper and toss well. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh out of the shells. Dice the avocados into pieces and add into the bowl. Add the tomatoes. Mix well and taste for salt and pepper. I usually add a bit more salt.

oooo, gotta love guacamole!! Sounds like a great recipe!
Looks delish! Are you going to post the recipe for the rice? It looks delish! Love your blog
Sure, if I have time I'll post the Spanish rice tomorrow. :)
Awesome! It just looks so yummy, I couldn't resist asking. thanks!
Yep..thats pretty much how I make my guac too!
YUM
Mmm… that looks so good. I LOVE guac. I'll have to try your recipe. The recipe I use is similar to Melanie's. It has jalapeno instead of Tabasco for spiciness. Tabasco would be a lot easier, though. Definitely going to try this!
I made this guacamole today and it was really, really good. We had tacos tonight and it went along perfectly. I wrote about it on my blog and gave you guys a plug. http://www.mealsforreal.blogspot.com
I have never posted how much I like this guacamole. It is soooo good. I like it best with 4 large avocados or 6-7 small ones. I substituted Frank’s hot sauce for the Tabasco this last time, and it was yummy. Great recipe Erin!
