Coco-Nutties

by Melanie on September 13, 2010

The recipe for these little balls of goodness come from my friend Karen. If you are a fan of nuts, coconut and chocolate you will LOVE these! They are a fun and healthy alternative to a cookie. I love that they are sweetened naturally with agave and honey and that they use coconut oil which has so many health benefits. And best of all these are really tasty–I promise:) Enjoy!

These sound like something Griff would like. And I lvoe that you don't have to bake them… it has been hot around here today and so turning the oven on sounds terrible. :)

I was going to ask the same thing – what kind of chocolate is best to use?

Natalie & Melissa,
I use semi sweet chocolate chips–because that is what I keep on hand–but I would think any chocolate would be great!

Anonymous,
I will have to count the next time I make them–but I would guess around 2 1/2 – 3 dozen!

I just made these and they didn't hold their shape in a ball. They fell apart. Still delicious though! Any suggestions?
